The hosting provider automatically collects the following data in server log files:

  • IP address (possibly anonymised)
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested URL
  • Browser type and version, operating system
  • Referring URL (referrer)
  • HTTP status code

A data processing agreement (DPA) has been concluded with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR (where required).

4. Cookies & Local Storage

This website does not set HTTP cookies by the operator. However, the browser's Web Storage (localStorage) is used for the following purposes:

Key Purpose Legal basis Retention
lang Stores your language preference (de/en) Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; § 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG (strictly necessary) Until you clear your browser cache
consent Stores your consent decision (timestamp + categories) Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; § 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG Until you clear your cache or withdraw consent

Since these are Web Storage entries (not HTTP cookies) and are technically necessary for operating the consent management, they do not require prior consent under § 25 TTDSG.

What data is transmitted when the Spotify player is active?

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type, operating system
  • Referring URL (this website)
  • Interactions with the player (e.g. playing a track)
  • Cookies set by Spotify (tracking, personalisation, functionality)

Legal basis & withdrawal

The legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the link in the footer. After withdrawal, the Spotify player will no longer be loaded automatically on your next visit.
